I want to show this today to you, that I'm doing whenever I have a new born baby around. This is my choice for the new born baby gift. My friends and neighbors get this Irish sweater knit by Genie Sidwell. Genie is a long time Takoma Park resident and is creating beautiful original Irish sweaters and other warm and cozy things. Her baby sweaters are super stretch and she uses the top quality yarns and buttons(look at these pewter Peter Rabbit buttons!). And her knitting is so perfect and nicely patterned. Oh, she just told me that she won the first prize at the Montgomery county Agricultural fair 2012, the best knitter! Her baby sweater got the first prize! Yahoo!
