Tropical Flowers for Summer Party

Last Saturday, we had this beautiful graduation party at Hyatts Hotel, Bethesda. We chose colorful tropical flowers to go with "summer-college graduation-ball room carpet color-Jamaican heritage". I ordered her tropical flowers directly from Hawaii and also took bromeliad plants to use as my focal for the centerpieces.
We set high pieces with asymmetrical strong lines and bold colors along with a small companion pieces down at the bottom. That way, we can set the party mood in the room but still didn't loose fun and interest on the table when your guests sit down for dinner.

For our cocktail hours, we set a totally different theme to it. We wanted to give a homage to our client's Jamaican heritage. So we took black curly willow branches and black ribbon to give an accent to our yellow and green Jamaican flag colors. Cocktail high boys were done with compact crespedia and green tricks designs.

Here're some detailed pictures of the companion pieces. Fun color and designs for summer parties. Don't you think?
