We have our new shipment yesterday from sunny California.
We've about ten different varieties we can play with. They are actually bromeliad family, properly called Tillandsia.
So many ways to use them as your zen zone-Put one in a hanging glass bowl, display couple on a tree stump, glue them on a bark board.
We actually have everything you need to create your little thing one and thing two here at the shop, Park Florist. Different colors and textures of moss, couple of different options for pebbles as well.Ghost tree, tree bark, hanging glass bowls!
Well now, you heard many rumors and stories on how to take care of them. Whatever you do, don't forget that the key factors are Lights, Water and Air Circulation.
Light: Full spectrum artificial light(fluorescent) is best. But since we are not just growing them but display them to see where we want, in the house directly in front of a window is good too. Fresh moving air is advisable, but remember the most important care need is bright filtered light.
Water: Use your most convenient method, hose, sprayer, submersing in a bucket of water, even dunking in your pond. Wet plants every other day.
Air circulation: Following each watering, air plants should be given enough light and air circulation to dry in four hours or less. They can never constantly wet or moist.
