Jeanne's Business Summit Meeting in California

 I just came back from my first Teleflora unit presidents meeting in Burbank, California. Park Florist is an affiliated member of the florist network company called Teleflora. When we need to send our orders to out of town, we send them to other Teleflora member shops, and they do the same to us. Well, Teleflora local member shops have an volunteer organization, called unit and our unit covers the District, Maryland, and northern Virginia. I get to serve my first term as the unit president this year-because I have nothing else to do! ha! The unit's main and only purpose is to have the floral education going on in this area sponsored by Teleflora. I really love to see the local florists grow with the educational programs, which I did myself.

So, I met these big shot guys-Teleflora president Jeff Bennett on my right(your left) and Teleflora's past president and current chairman Tom Butler. They were very passionate on the floral industry and showed us the trends in business.
