December Wedding

December weddings are tricky. In a way that you do want it be like wintry and yeah maybe a bit of holiday feel but not totally, because it is not a holiday party. Many people get married in December for many different reasons. My bride last weekend, Iliana got married Damascus, her fiance on December 1st, because Damascus is a football coach and they had to wait till the season finished! Oh my, were they beautiful together!

Iliana chose this classic winter bouquet with a bit of reds in it. We had champagne color patience garden roses and white callas as our main flowers and add some freedom red roses and red spray roses as well as red hypericum berries. However what makes this bouquet stand out is really just a little mix of blue grey dusty miller and silver brunia berries.

You can see the accent blue grey color much better here at the girl's bouquets.

And she did her pew flowers properly. Beautiful set for the church!

This beautiful church setting at University of Maryland chapel is done with white football mums, snapdragons, lilies, roses, but most of all, blue grey eucalyptus foliage to carry the wintry theme.

And she chose very simple centerpiece for her reception table. I should agree with her that when they dimmed the light this candle floating submerged calla vase looked awesome!

So, December brides! Come to Sarah and let's talk about your own unique winter wedding decor!
