A Beautiful October Day

Autumn, it's very special season for me. It's so short and so just transitional, it almost makes me dizzy.
It's so beautiful all around you, but not cheesy or tacky as spring time beauty sometimes appeared to be. It's so profoundly beautiful and abundance with its texture and color. And I have so much natural material I can create my design with. All of my local farms provide their last batch of harvest, which are pods, grasses, twigs, color-changed foliage.
It's also a blessing for our Eastern shore area, something we are proud of, not envying California.

So, here's what we come up with our seasonal beauties for University of Maryland, School of Business function this week.
"Coffee break" bronze roses, burnt orange dahlia, cedar, tinted eucalyptus, magnolia, kangaroo's paw, chinese lantern of course. It has been fun to work with La Prima Catering as always.
