Bobbi Kittner-who is the very artist that we are hosting this year-initiated this brilliant idea of bringing all of the local artists together matching with the local business. It has been received so well, we have so many anticipating people checking in everyday what we'd bring this year!
So, this is how it is working. Participating Old Town Takoma Park businesses-which is almost every shops and restaurants in Old Town Takoma Park-will display assigned local artist's art works for this weekend-March 24th -25th Sat-Sun. All day long, you can just peek in any stores, or all of them, to see these arts. It's FREE! Each business also hosts its own artist reception. We are super excited to host Bobbi Kittner this year! Bobbi delivered all of her wonderful whimsical paintings and collage works to us and we finished setting them all up! Her painting and sculptures are such warm story teller, just like herself. Bobbi and her husband, Sam-who is well known photographer- has studio and home in Takoma Park. I guarantee that when you see her arts here, you will found yourself smile.
