Valentine Shopping Tips

OK, Valentine's Day is coming up!
It's time to celebrate ALL the loves out there but I'm very excited for all the newly fallen lovers especially.
and I am so excited to be part of that "Knock her socks off" plan.
We offer to different group of guys to pick out different designs depending on whether they are looking for something special for their “Soul mate”, “Love at First Sight”, “BFF(best friends forever)”, “Puppy Love”, “Funny Little Valentine”. We definitely don’t want to sell the same old dozen roses. We do offer dozen roses if you’re looking for a classic beauty, of course.

For those who are shopping for their soul mate, we would offer one of our sophisticated elegant bouquets ranged $75-200 featuring premium flowers such as cymbidium orchids, dendrobium orchids, Calla lilies, hydrangeas such as this.

For those who are shopping for their young girl friends, we want to offer one of our fun and chic bouquets ranged $60-100 featuring hot pink roses, calla lilies, lilies. They are often arranged as if they are bridal bouquet, compact and round in satin wrapped cube classes or cylinders.
We also have small cuties for the friends, daughters, and all the important ladies in your life!

Also here’s our tips to make a satisfying purchase for your Valentine’s day flowers.

1.) Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year – how far in advance should consumers place their flower orders?

We’d recommend to order for delivery to home on Friday the 11th, so that you avoid the holiday rush and enjoy the most fresh flowers throughout the weekend!

2.) A common complaint is flower delivery problems – are there any tips for consumers on how to avoid a delivery mishap?

If you are planning to send out of town, either call the local florist there(if you can find good one), or call your local florist early enough(4-7days ahead) to send it out to the area. As it goes close to holiday, it’s getting real tricky to send orders out of town.

Give your florist as much as information to help the delivery. It’s really hard to catch recipients these days, you know, everybody is busy. We cannot afford to do the second delivery during the busiest holiday and sometimes the weather is not cooperating either. So if we have all the information-would she be there afternoon? The apartment is accessible? Her home and cell phone number? There’s really no surprise on Valentine’s day, right? We’d rather call her first than miss her.

3.) Another concern is when flowers show up that are not fresh, browning, etc – what advice for consumers do you have regarding guarantees?

Leave your florist a room to do her/his own thing a bit. I know we all choose from the pictures on website now and you might have a very specific idea what you want, but designer’s choice will get you the most fresh product for sure. We don’t choose old and bad ones when we can choose anything we like to choose. Also when you place your order, tell them that your priority is freshness.

By all means, if you find the flowers in not so good condition, call the florist right away and let them know.

4.) What should recipients do to care for their flowers once they arrive?

They should display them some place where no extreme hot/dry/cold air go through. Not on the radiator! If it arrives in a vase, pull your whole bouquet and cut the stems back about an inch every other day as you change the water. If it arrives in a floral foam(in basket or other container), just fill the water every day.

5.) What are some unique flower/plant gift ideas for the consumer who wants to purchase something other than the traditional red roses this year?

80% of women prefer mixed design than red roses, a study said. We have regular customers asking for our “special” designers’ touch, as oriental styles, European garden style, scented bouquet…etc. Give us some color scheme or style ideas, and then we will create something terrific for them!
